NEW TO ELIM NORTHAMPTON
If you’re new to our church, first off, let us extend a warm welcome! We’re thrilled that you’ve found your way to our website. Even if you’ve been a Christian for decades, stepping into a new church environment can often feel intimidating. You may have lots of questions swirling in your mind, and we want to assure you that our team is here to help. Feel free to reach out by emailing the church, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
At Elim Northampton, we’re a contemporary church with a deep love for our community. You’ll find that new guests join us all the time, so you certainly won’t be alone.
Our friendly team of volunteers will be ready to greet you at the door and guide you to our café, main auditorium, or kids church spaces.
We also host a snapshot evening every few months for those who want to learn more about the church and ask any questions they may have. You can find details of our next Event Here.
During our Sunday Services, there are some key elements you can always expect:
1. Worship
Worship is a central part of our identity. It involves a collection of songs that celebrate the character of God and express gratitude for His goodness and faithfulness. Our worship style ranges from upbeat and energetic to reflective and contemplative. We simply love to worship!
2. Message
Each of our services includes a message that is firmly rooted in the teachings of the Bible. These messages typically last around 30 minutes and are designed to inspire and encourage you on your faith journey.
3. Connections
After the service, feel free to grab a refreshment from the café, visit our visitors lounge, or approach one of our pastoral team members for prayer. If you’re new to Church, please don’t hesitate to say hello to someone before you leave.
Here are a few important things to know for your first visit:
- Dress comfortably and wear whatever makes you feel at ease. We have a diverse congregation, so you’ll see people dressed in everything from formal attire to casual wear.
- You don’t need to bring a Bible with you. We’ll display any verses or passages on our screens during the service.
- Remember, you’re not the only new person in the room. Each week, we welcome visitors and guests who are joining us for the first time.
