Kids

At Elim Church Northampton, we believe children are a vital part of our church family. That’s why Kids Church exists to help them grow strong in faith through fun, interactive sessions rooted in God’s Word. Every week, children learn how to follow Jesus in real, age-appropriate ways. Our aim is to equip them to live biblically, love generously, and grow as Christ’s future disciples — all while having a great time!

We partner with families to help children discover their God-given identity and purpose. With caring leaders, engaging lessons, and vibrant worship, your child will experience church in a way that’s exciting, meaningful, and tailored just for them.

God Tots (Ages 3–5)

Our God Tots group is specially designed for pre-schoolers. Children aged 3–5 enjoy creative play, worship, stories, and crafts that introduce them to God’s love in simple, memorable ways. Once they begin Year 1 at school, they’ll move up into Kids Church.

Kids Church (Years 1–6)

Kids Church welcomes children in Years 1 to 6, with children grouped by school year to ensure sessions are relevant, fun, and spiritually rich. We use the 4 Ps Framework to teach biblical truths:

Problem – Identifying real-life challenges kids face (like fear or worry)
Promise – Exploring God’s promises in Scripture
Proof – Highlighting Bible stories that show God at work
Push – Encouraging children to apply these truths in their own lives

Each week, children leave knowing they are loved by God and called to make a difference.

Safeguarding Comes First

Your child’s safety is our highest priority. All volunteers in God Tots and Kids Church are DBS-checked and trained through our safer recruitment process. This includes enhanced background checks, references, and clear safeguarding guidelines. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where every child is seen, valued, and protected.

Information for Parents

Arrive Early: Spaces are limited, so please arrive between 10:15am and 10:40am to register your child.
Registration Process: On your first visit, a parent or guardian must fill out a consent form (linked below).
Safety Stickers: You’ll receive three matching stickers for secure collection after the service — one for our register, one for your child, and one for you.
Help is on Hand: Our friendly welcome team will guide you through the process and help you feel at ease.
Relax & Enjoy: While you’re in the service, know that your children are in great hands, learning and growing in a safe, joyful space.
